End of Chinese classes, start of the internship!
Chinese classes
Yesterday we had our last intensive Chinese classes. From last Monday until yesterday we had class from 14:30 to 18:30. I think I learned an incredible amount. Now and then I can already order food, but it's still not that simple. From now on we'll have 2 hours of Chinese a week, but that hasn't been fully arranged yet.
We also had Chinese tests, and I scored really well on them: 100/100 on the first and 116/120 on the second! Who knows, maybe I'll become a real Chinese person yet!
This is a photo of the class I had Chinese with:

Internship
Today we worked from home for our internship. Our assignment is to update the old web platform they use and add new features. Bert started on improving an existing part that consists of very bad code. I started writing a new feature. I'm going to build a kind of exchange platform where G2Studio can swap files with their clients, a kind of Dropbox in your web browser.
We don't really know the office hours yet, so we worked from 10:00 to 18:00, which seemed reasonable to me.
Tomorrow morning we have to pick up our residence permit. The residence permit means we can actually work at the office with our visas, legally. It also gives us a multiple-entry visa, which means that while my visa is valid I can leave and re-enter the country. We were thinking of maybe going to Hong Kong, so with our multiple-entry visa we can.
Weekend
Apart from that, all is well with me. We had a very quiet weekend. A while ago we got a big box from Epermarket full of vegetables, mushrooms and potatoes. On Saturday we took it to our Belgian friends, and they cooked us a meal with it.
