I'm in Shanghai!

A few hours ago I landed in Shanghai, admittedly more than an hour late, but what's an extra hour on top of 13. Everything went smoothly: we got straight through customs and found our suitcase right away.

We left the terminal to look for Jacky, the person picking us up, but we couldn't find him. Luckily, while we were sending a text to ask where he was, he found us!

Then we set off for our apartment. We went by taxi, which by the way had no seat belts, because who needs seat belts, and I think it was about an hour's drive from the airport.

I'm writing this in the apartment now. The address is: Lane 28 Changshou road building 22 room 2501. So I'm on the 25th floor and have a really nice view. I'll write another post soon with a few photos of the apartment.
